Solace of Nirvana

The dust settled from the attacks on Raven. She stood there, completely unharmed. Standing next to her was a black silhouette. "Thanks for gathering all the kids together. There's enough collective darkness between them all to allow me to appear here for a while. I can't remain here for too long, but it should be enough for now. First off we should probably do something about these people who are out to kill you. Don't worry, I won't hold this against you, having to save you from these people."

Zack's eyes widened. "This... This is the darkness we've been trying to destroy. Ignore the woman. Focus everything you have on this thing." Zack rushed towards the figure to attack.

"You're far too young for something like that to work." The figure spoke. In one swift motion it blocked Zack and knocked him back several feet. The soldiers all opened fire on the figure, shooting off light volleys. Before they all hit, a rock wall burst out of the ground, surrounding Raven and the dark figure. Once the shots stopped the rock wall sank back into the ground.

"Hey Raven, help has arrived." Gerik spoke. He saw the attack as he had gotten out of the tunnel. He had quickly slammed his hammer on the ground to cause the rocks to sprout up. The effects of the hammer impacting the ground was shown where he stood.

 

A large ball of fire shot out of the tunnel as Emma ran out staff in hand.

"Sounds like a plan to me." She stated grinning looking around.

"Kill as you may please, but it will not help you..." Emma looked around as a figure rose up in the distance. In a quick swing of keyblade, a flash a strange sword appeared in his hand. Emma strained her eyes against the sun when she realized the sword.

"Way to Dawn..." She whispered.

"Yes, I'm the wielder of this mighty weapon, a mighty keyblade. I am one of the keybladers of the light knight. My names is Silas." He stated as he ran forward quickly and appeared right behind Angel and slashing his keyblade at her.

"Angel!" Emma quickly yelled and shot a ball of flame at Silas before he reflected it back at her. She put her staff up feeling the fire still hit her skin but do no harm to her at all.

OOC: You have Hoshi as well.

And then Kavi was there too. Standing beside the others, he gripped his chakram nervously, eyes darting around and searching for an exit. He would have trembled, but instinct was already kicking in and guiding his actions.

Find a way to escape. Keep fighting minimal. Avoid the strikes of the enemy.

Unfortunately for him, there was one who wouldn't let that happen at all easily standing right across from him. Raiga, armed with his two blades, dashed forward, shooting a wave of Branching Lightning at all of the Elementals while brandishing his ultrasharp Charged Blade to block any incoming attacks. Kavi attempted to defend by sending a stream of water at him - but he only remembered too late what happens when water meets electricity. The lightning shocked him terribly and caused him to crumple to the ground, panting in pain.

"What do we do?" He mumbled, trying to get up. His body shook terribly.

"LET'S SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO AGAINST THE EDGE OF LIGHTING!" Raiga roared, reaching the others and slashing wildly with his sword.

 

"Aw come on. I save your life and you don't even notice." Voltair complained to Raven. "Sheesh. Even an I miss you would've sufficed. Something to acknowledge my appearance here. But no. Instead you completely ignore me and instead focus on the kid who decided to wait until the last minute to stop some attacks. I know that this is just a mass of darkness and not my actual physical body, but still."

"Wow... I didn't know somebody like Angel would resort to killing? What a suggestion." Gerik thought to himself. "Anyways, let's see what kind of firepower this weapon has. Permissum orbis terrarum voro meus hostilis." Gerik muttered the words that came to mind. The ground around the light knights started to become quicksand, causing them to sink into the ground.

Zack quickly jumped into the air to avoid sinking into the ground. "Kill the one with the hammer. As long as he's around we're not safe on the ground."

>I figured I'd throw in some Latin, just for fun. Whether or not that was the actual cause of the ground sinking, well I'll leave that up to you guys to figure out.<

 

>Okay then, I guess I'll post again. Which I guess works for getting the kids off the islands.<

"I'll be back as soon as I can. It's not like I enjoy being away from you. The darkness is kinda boring after all. Since there's no light there, and therefore no hearts, not even the heartless or the nobodies exist anymore. So I'm all by my lonesome." Voltair rambled on and on, not really paying attention to anything else.

"That bastard. Talking on and on like we're not around or anything. I'll kill him." Zack thought angrily and he got up from Raven's attack.

"If you need a way to get off of this world, go ask the kid with the hammer. He should have some device that allows for transportation between worlds. If you're afraid of being followed though, then I suppose I could open up a corridor of darkness. It is kinda risky though. I can aim it to open up where that wind girl's weapon is, but there's a chance that it'll instead take you directly to me and cause you to be stuck there until you die. Although I suppose only the kids would die. You'd be stuck with me forever. Which I don't mind, but I'm sure they would."

 

Kavi, saw Raiga reach the group with his sword. Taking advantage of the fact that the man was more focused on the people who weren't crumpled on the ground, Kavi sent a wild kick straight upwards, smashing his foot into Raiga's jaw and sending him back. But it was at this moment that the Atlantican noticed something incredibly peculiar. So peculiar, in fact, that he simply didn't even have enough time to tell the others. Sticking the tips of his chakram into the ground momentarily, he pulled upwards and over, sending a barrier of ice over the Elementals and their two unusual companions. The reason for this became apparent a few moments later, when the two dropships that brought in the troops crashed into eachother and plummeted towards the ground.

The ice barrier held, it seemed, at now there was several heaping layers of metal on all sides of the Elementals.


On the other side of the 'wall', Finch groaned in discomfort, having been trapped under a fairly large piece of wreckage.
"Fan-freaking tastic. . ." She groaned, struggling to take the metal off. A shadow appeared over her, apparently belonging to Ghira as he said, "Hold still," And removed the metal with relative ease.
Helping the girl up, the artist asked, "Where is Raiga? I could not find him around here."
"Pro'bly buried under five tons of crappy ship, moron! Since when did your ships break like that?!"

 

When the ships crashed Emma looked around frantic and saw the scrap metal everywhere outside. She looked over at Kavi.

"Thanks, we could of all been toast." Emma stated. She looked over at the dark shadow, the same shadow she definately knew was the one who saved her at her home.

"Your name, it's Voltair isn't it?" Emma asked remembering a dream. "You were the one who rescued me at my house. Shadow corridor or not, I think we all can agree we need to get out of here." Emma looked around at the others before looking back at Voltair.

 

"In case anybody is wondering, I haven't the slightest clue on the finer details of this thing." Gerik spoke, holding up the transportation orb. He pressed the button, opening up a portal. "Come on everybody, let's go." With a swing of his hammer, the ground kicked up like it was a rug being snapped around. Angel, Hope, Emma, and Kavi were all swept into the portal. "Once you're done making out with your boyfriend, you better come find us. I don't know where the other end of the portal is, so as far as I know it opened up on a deserted world." Gerik spoke to Raven before walking through the portal.

"Well, on the bright side they're away from all these bad guys." Voltair laughed. "On the darker side, they don't know where they are. With any luck, they're at Disney Castle. If they're too unlucky though, then they're at the Light Knight's headquarters. Now that the kids are gone though, so is their darkness. So I'm gonna fade any moment now. With the remaining darkness, I'll open up a portal to get you away from here, if you want to risk the danger of ending in the dark realm. You can also go ahead and leave this world in your own way if you want." The darkness that composed Voltair's figure changed into a dark portal.

 

Kavi had a rather abrupt entrance and landing thanks to the one with the hammer. He would have to tell him of his discomfort later, but for now there was a more pressing matter to deal with. Namely,

Where are we? The Atlantican asked himself, standing up and brushing himself off, before realizing his choice of words. We? I have companions now. . .

But this train of thought was forced to end, when he noticed the machinery of the surroundings. All, brightly colored and lit, almost cartoonish in nature. In front of where they landing a plaque stood. Kavi could not understand it, however, as the written language of the sea is different than that above water.

"I'm fine, I'm fine. . ." Raiga grumbled, coming over to where Finch and Ghira were. His mouth and torso were heavily bandaged. Strange, considering how it had only been a few minutes since the crash. "I was almost killed. If it hadn't been for our resident genius artist here, I wouldn'tve made it out of that wreckage alive."

"Yes, but you will suffer some side effects. Namely, you will not be able to feel anything in your upper body for a while, at least, until your body adapts to the metals," Ghira explained, leaving Finch feeling rather estranged.

"Oy, but what about th' keybladers?"

OOC: It's Disney Castle. It's been turned into a museum, seeing as the Knights are stationed elsewhere.

 

"Well... Umm... Whoops..." A voice spoke out to Raven. "This is... Unfortunate to say the least. So I guess you could say that this is my fault. I'm gonna go ahead and guess that it was a bad idea to have you go through that portal all by yourself. I really did try to have it open up to where the kids were. But I guess that my heart's desire to see you screwed with the portal. So now you're stuck here in the realm of darkness with me. Sorry if it seems a little dark and not neat or anything. I'm not used to having any guests, so I'm not exactly prepared."

 

Emma landed hard on the ground and lifted herself up. She was glad to see she landed on soft grassy ground below her. She sat up and looked around noticing figures cut out of bushes. She stood up and walked out from behind the one figure. The figures were all playing musical instruments as there was a giant castle in the center. She turned back around to face the others.

"Where are we?" She asked them all aloud when she noticed somebody walk out of the doorway of the castle running accross the green path to another door in the wall that made Emma noticed they were in the courtyard of some sort.

 

"I'm wherever I want to be." Voltair answered. "Which would be with you." Voltair's body slowly came into focus in front of Raven. "Been a while, hasn't it? Since we were this close and actually able to touch one another."

"Well, if this is where we're meant to go next, then I'm gonna go ahead and assume that the missing weapon is here. Good thing nobody seems to be around here. You guys are welcome to do whatever you want, but I think I'm gonna go find that weapon." Gerik spoke as he started to wander away from the group.

The rubble that Zack was buried under burst away, as if something underneath it exploded. Zack stood up from the wreckage, blood trickling down his face. One could easily see the look of anger in his eyes. He put his left hand up to his ear, activating his communication device. "Zack here. The darks have escaped ones again. They received assistance from the dark realm. They have also acquired weapons and are able to channel energy through them, screwing with the elements. Now that they are armed and dangerous, we are returning to base to devise the next plan of attack."

 

Emma looked at the others stepped towards the girl.

"Were just travelers passing through. We mean no harm." Emma spoke up and looked at all the men with their weapons pointed up. She raised her hands up to prove they were harmless.

"Though, we'd be grateful if we were able to rest here for awhile to map out our quest in pursuit of the flying Raven." She said to signal to the others they needed to figure out where Raven is and if for some case she shows up there, they'd be able to escape safely then.
