If you're talking about counteracting a hangover, you just need to drink alot of water to lessen it's effects. A hangover is caused by dehydration. So yes, you can get a hangover by not having any kind of water for a long time.

Bread is good at absorbing liquid in your system (or summin like that) and can sober you up. I had naan bread at the time.
