Forget every thing you know about vampires most of it is myths, crucifics dont make them cringe in fear, garlic doesnt burn them from the inside out, sliver does burn them and it makes them weak for a time, holy water is just salt water, all can change into anything they want, due to the fact that that they can change there bone structures and there skin pigment to any color, and they can potenatlly live for ever there are two species of vampires the kind that need to suck life energy from the blood of humans because it is most concentrated in them, but they usually dont kill when they feed this breed is generally stronger then the secound breed but eventually they become careless and are killed, this breed usally lives to be about two hundred, they are humas validus, and then theres a secound species who can feed without biting, they are weaker that the first speices, but usally live longer, they usually live to be about five hundred they are humas valens, the two species get along, vampires have there own social structure, the more powerful your are the higher your postition, and the older you are the more power you have, however the sun is leathal to them, for a time... there are people out there who know about vampires but they know that most just want to be left alone so they leave them be or help them, but out there their are humans who know about vampires but hate them and are misguided.

here are the ages that they get their powers:

0-10years: they develop their thirst, their weaknesses, and what type of vampire they are comes out
10-50years: they develop super stregnth
50-200years: they develop super sight, and abilty to change shape
200-800years: they develop super speed, humas valens stop developing and gaining powers
800-1500years: they develop an immunity to sunlight
1500-3000years: they develop the ablity to scream at steel shatering volumes

2834 years ago a very small group the vlade vacuus broke away from the vampire socity because they didnt agree with the venia valeo valui valiturus the vampire equavlent to a high king and the vampires and the vlade vacuus started fighting and this is there tale.
