Raine's keyblade appeared and she blocked the attack.

"who's there!?" She yelled out looking around. That voice, it seemed familiar but at the sametime it didn't seem familiar. She looked around and back at Jaden.

"That is unimportant." The voice echoed as the shadow rushed past them again. Whatever it was, it seemed to disappear. Everything went deathly silent. There was a crash behind them. Something landed on the ground away from them, causing everything to shake violently. Whatever caused this was in the shadows, unseen.

Matthias appeared on Earth again. He took a step forward. As he did, he looked at his hand. It looked like it was being sucked away. "What the?" Magical energy enveloped his other hand, ready to kill whoever was attacking him. Matthias looked around, but nobody was around. His entire body began to look like it was being sucked away. "This energy? It feels familiar and harmless. What the hell is going on?" Matthias was sucked away.

Matthias appeared at Stonehenge. He was directly at the center. "Why was I brought here?" He looked around at the ancient stones. Storm clouds quickly gathered, blocking out any light from the sky. Lightning began to strike the ground as the rain began falling. A bolt of lightning struck the ground right in front of Matthias. He had to shield his eyes from the intensity of the light caused by the lightning. Once he could see again, he looked where the bolt struck. There was a sword stuck in the ground, emanating a blood red glow. Matthias reached out and touched the sword. His hand magically tightened on the hilt of the blade. His mind was flooded with images. He saw this sword and Jaden's sword float around each other at Stonehenge, creating an entrance to a new dimension. When the images stopped, Matthias fell to his knees, still clutching the sword. "I understand. Our goal... My goal... It is right here. Infinite knowledge, mere meters above me. But it is truly massive. I cannot comprehend it all as I am now. I see what I need to do."

The darkness is waiting.....the darkness is waiting....the darkness is waiting....
Voices were humming, singing, chanting to the gods. They were speaking to Jaden, the boy who can open the knowledge to everything. Many voices joined together in harmony and Jaden's mind was trying to focus on them all. The muscles in his forehead were straining and Jaden was holding his head. It was pounding and there was too much information to handle. He fell to the ground and closed his eyes. The voices told him stories of their worlds turning to ruin. There were tsunamis which engulfed entire continents, earthquakes which shattered planets to pieces of rock, floating in space. They lost gravity and for the rest of the world, it was engulfed in flame from the core of it's world. The remnants of them were then taken away by the Syneptophy as energy. The energy came from the souls of people, the soul of the world and the nutrients left from the dead matter. Wars were fought between the darkness and the natives of the world but the darkness always prevailed. They were too strong. Jaden, then knew it wasn't just the Syneptophy who were terrorizing the worlds. There were several groups. The Guild of the Dark was formed by Maleficent and a man witnessed a large gathering, planning to dethrown the Syneptophy. The voices came from the souls which survived and were not taken by the Syneptophy. They lived to tell the tale but now, their spirits were fading and so were their voices. Their song was the voice of slim hope; the hope for everything to be reversed. They were fading into the darkness. Jaden found himself in a black room with a red light at the end of a corridor. He saw the spirits with a faint ghost like white glow drift towards it. Jaden followed them. He needed to know more. He wanted to master the darkness, alongside the light. He wanted to keep an open mind and help create balance in the worlds.

Meanwhile Kain noticed something strange rising from within the lava flow but it was something out of the ordinary; it was a giant. Claws emerged from within the river of lava and soon a sharp toothed mouth appeared.
Mario widened his eyes.
"WHAAAA IT'S A-- IT'S A---"
Bowser laughed.
"Yes Mario, it is I Bowser....no KING BOWSER!!!!"
He swiped at him, knocking him back to Comet Observatory, leaving Raine and Kain alone. He turned towards Kain.
"Ah, Kain, how is your father?" Bowser remarked.
"SHUT UP!" Kain screamed at him. "How do you know my father!?"
"We were on SmashWorld but now is not the time for talking. It is your time to die!"
Kain sheathed out his blade and jumped towards the beast, aiming for his heart.

From the shadows, something reached out and grabbed Bowser. "You are an annoying inconvenience. But I suppose I shall leave you to fight these pests. I have more important things to do." Bowser was tossed back to where he was before. The sound of flapping wings could be heard, and the air around the group suddenly became really violent. Something flew into the sky and away from the group. It was a massive dragon.

Raine ran over to Jaden and had him scooped into her lap. She was shaking him to try and wake him up.(picture Ven and Aqua in BBS the final scene like that).

"Jaden!" She called trying to wake him when the platform shook. She looked at something rising from the lava. She looked at it her eyes wide. She couldn't say anything. She never faced anything like this before. She felt herself trembling she closed her eyes picturing the older version of herself, that Raine was strong. She opened her eyes and tried to be strong.

"Mario!" Raine exclaimed and watched him get flung away as Kain got ready for a fight. She stopped though feeling intense wind around them, it was like being inside a tornado. She held on to Jaden while the wind blew all around. She looked back up at Bowser.

'There's no way I can take him, he...' Raine thought to herself she saw her arm/ hand begin to glow she looked at it as her keyblade, the kingdom key, appeared but began to transform before her own eyes.

A burst of light broke from the keyblade.

'Use it well follow your destiny, you're his key' A voice spoke in Raine's head.

She stood up and watched the dragon fly off. She looked back at Bowser.

The dimension wore off and the ship was behind Bowser. Xohka stuck both of his kusarigamas into the ears of Starship Mario and jumped on to the Koopa King's back, careful as to not impale himself into the spikes. "Hit it, Yoshi!" Xohka ordered. The little green dinosaur stepped on the accelerator pad and the ship roared back to life. It went towards Bowser's back, but Xohka pulled the chain and instead made the ship go up and over. Xohka grabbed onto Bowser's horns and pulled down the chain - the baby Yoshi jumped down next to Xohka when the ship was above the King. Now the ship made a dive and aimed towards Raine's and her partners at full throttle.

Maleficent appeared from within a green dragon shaped glow.
"Bowser, we will take leave for now. We all must gather to decide our next move."
They faded into green smoke and faded away.
Kain was furious at Bowser's cowardness.
"GET BACK HERE!" he barked with his sword raised. The black dragon in the sky flew away from the area, leaving the unconscious Jaden, Raine and Kain alone....for now. They now must seek a way out of this world so they can find assistance on their quest to stop Matthias from obtaining the Dominion.

Jaden was still in a deep sleep, as Mario Jr arrived back to assist them.
"Is-a-Bowser gone?"
Kain put the Master Sword back into his sheath with a grunt.
"Yes, he's gone..."
"That's good news!" Mario exclaimed. He turned to Jaden, who was still sleeping silently with very few breaths. "OH NO! IS HE OKAY!?" he asked Raine.

Raine stood her head thumping in pain. Her keyblade disappeared and she knelt down and looked at Jaden.

'Wake up, Jaden.' She thought to herself. She looked back at Mario and Kain.

"He will be when we get some help to look him over." Raine told him. "Jr, how do we get out of here?" Raine asked him hoping to get help to Jaden.

A ship as the shape of a mushroom flew over to the lava inhabited planet and landed beside Jr. A man with a mushroom for his head ran out, tripping. He looked distressed.
"MARIO! MARIO! MUSHROOM KINGDOM IS BEING ATTACKED!" he squirmed.
"I'll be right there, Toad" Jr reassured him. The small spaceship could only hold 4 people. "You guys go! I will take a star!"
He grabbed a star from his pocket and it floated above the dry molten rock.
"HERE WE GO!"
Mario twirled around the star and from its power, he soared through the sky.

Raine looked at the ship. She lifted up Jaden to the best of her ability. 'Hold on, Jaden' She thought to herself as she boarded the ship.

"Is there someone who can help him?" Rain asked the distressed mushroom boy.
