The New Dawn 2- The New Darkness

Voltair dodged Vanquish's attacks and slashed at her. He started attacking her. He kicked her into a wall, and was about to knock her out when he suddenly stopped. He clutched his chest in pain and fell to the floor. "Damn.... Not now."

 

"Harone, Harone, I can walk." Nicole said to him. She stood up and headed over to the ship. She sat down and started running the ship and they soon warped off. Nicole sat there hoping no questions would be asked.

 

"Hmm, no just going over the diffrent thoughts in my head and a checklist. Anyways who was that lady?" Nicole asked turning around looking at Calder.

"Was she the one who took Siah before?" Nicole asked him. She was curious, she did know they had to go find Voltiar.

Voltair tried getting up, but he was in too much pain. "Damn you Vanquish. What did you do to me?" He thought to himself. He was thinking about what choices he had available to him. He hoped that this pain surge would end quickly.

 

Rage filled Voltair from that comment. "No.... You won't...." Darkness started to collect around Voltair. He kicked Vanquish with such force that she was knocked back into the wall. As soon as he landed on the ground, his body dissapeared and was suddenly right next to Vanquish. He grabbed her and threw her up into the ceiling. The darkness around his body started to gather more and more. It seemed like it was going to envelop him. It then faded away. "No.... I'm not gonna let the darkness take over me like it did to you. I pity you."

 

Voltair caught the keyblade with his bare hands. The darkness slowly started surrounding Voltair again. "No, I don't know what pain. But I know what pain you'll go through," he said sadistically. He held on to the keyblade and pushed her up against the wall. He held her keyblade up to her throat and started lifting her up off the ground. "You'll be in so much pain you'll beg me for death. But you shouldn't worry about dying. You've done it before." He summoned his own keyblade and started to cut Vanquish slowly.

Voltair wasn't paying attention to Vanquish's remarks. His keyblade looked like it's light could barely hold back Voltair's darkness from itself. He grabbed Vanquish by her throat and slammed her on the ground several times. He went berserk on her, just attacking relentlessly.

--In his mind--

He could see himself attacking Vanquish. "Stop! Stop it!" He screamed. He couldn't control his body. It was like he was possessed.

--Back out of his mind--

He threw Vanquish on the ground and stepped on her throat. He took his keyblade and thrust it down in her gut and pushed down until the floor prevented him from pushing harder.

 

--In his mind--

"No!" He yelled out as he saw the darkness starting to devour him again. "I... Will not be taken!" Light shot out of him.

--Outside--

From his last yell, Voltair regained control of his body. The darkness was shot away from his body in a blast of light. He felt incredibly weak. "Damn you Vanquish." He opened up a portal and fell through it.

 

Nicole saw this and stood up.

"If I'm not mistaken, your father is Sora the keyblade master, and he knows that you and Calder are keyblader weilder and a princess of heart, so like when he took off without telling his parents, I'm sure he sees it and will know your doing something important. Plus I can feel Voltiar here somewhere on this world. I don't know this Raven nor her aura, but I'm sure if she's that strong like you said, she's fine." Nicole said. Kara nodded.

"Come on though we need to stay focus, if anyone should be worried, it be my mom, I've never done this before." Kara said.

"Right, so you two set a good model for her." Nicole said smiling. She opened the door, they were in the woods outside of town. Nicole jumped out and helped everybody out. She felt Voltiar's aura it was close and he was weakening.

 

Voltair's portals didn't take him far. He was too weak to focus, so his portals warped him around different places of Twilight Town. He was about to fall unconscience. Using whatever energy he could muster, he opened one last portal. It led him to Disney Castle, in the Hall of the Cornerstone.
