The New Dawn 5: Shadows Awaken

"You look funny too, with those clown shoes your family wears" she said, with a giggle.
Emily grabbed Kiba's shoulders wanting him to step back. She didn't want him to get in trouble.
"I think it's kinda cute" Asalym added.
Emily widened her eyes.
Was Asalym hitting on Kiba? He was 5 years younger than her and he was a kid. Emily wanted him to walk back to her. Asalym was a freak and she didn't want Kiba to get involved in their schemes.

 

"Wouldn't want me to what?" The clone Voltair asked. "Throw you into a black hole? Hey, the real me didn't make that black hole. The b**** I fought made it. And she was almost dead anyways." The real Voltair got up. "And besides, no matter how many times you attack, your attacks are useless against me. Sure, I sound arrogant, but it's the truth."

 

"One thing at a time." Voltair said. "First off, I don't think I'm the only immortal one. In fact, I don't care. Second, I multi task. So I haven't gotten sloppy." Voltair's body just blew away like sand in the wind. Porter got stabbed in the back. Voltair whispered in his ear. "Third, I win." He kicked Porter off his keyblade and caught Rai's body. He then quickly teleported away.

 

Asalym stamped her feet and fire spread around her.
"I was trying to give you a compliment!" she snapped. Ash ran down her cheek, which was in the shape of a tear. Her eyes turned red. She was angry.
"I was being nice to you but I guess, now I can't be!"
Emily disappeared and reappeared in Asalym's grasp.
"You're just like that other boy, who hurt me. Why do you have to be so mean!?"
Emily was struggling under Asalym's grip on her throat.
"Sak-Sak, turn her back into Vanquish!"
Emily was quivering in fear and tears spread down her face. Her desperate eyes met at Kiba.
Emily sent a telepathic message to Kiba.
"Stay safe, keep away from the dark"

 

"Remember my promise? The one about me helping you get your memories back?" Voltair asked her. "Well here we are. Welcome to Castle Oblivion. There are 13 floors going up, and 12 floors going down. Each floor will change based on the memories of whomever holds these cards." Voltair handed her a set of cards. They were all blank. "A specific world will appear when needed. All you need to do is go up to a door, going upstairs or downstairs, and then hold up any of the cards. Shall we get going?"

 

Asalym sighed.
"I'm sorry but Saki...he's-"
She stopped and looked at Kiba.
"I really am sorry" she told him, being truthful. Saki was controlling her and used the darkness to make her crazy.
"It's the darkness....not me"
She plunged her nail inside Emily and they both fell unconscious infront of Kiba.

Calder ran out in shock. He couldn't believe what just hsppened. The darkness was back.

 

"Simple. Just because you've forgotten a memory doesn't mean that it has stopped exsisting. This castle will show you those memories. That should help you remember." Voltair explained to her. "If this doesn't work, then I don't know what would. If it doesn't, then I'll have to accept you're a different person."

 

Voltair thought about that for a moment. "Hmmm.... I'm not sure. We'll deal with that if it occurs. But the number one priority is you regaining your memory. Once that happens.... Well we'll hope for the best." Voltair thought about something egotistical to say. "And I suppose that the best for me is regaining your memory, and the best for you is me." He laughed at that part.

 

"You know you love it." Voltair said smuggly as they walked through. The room was in a bright light. They couldn't see anything. "Give it a moment. The room needs to conform to the world on that card. Just remember. Whatever you see is a memory."

 

"Why?" Voltair asked her. "You were never confined on the islands. You could leave any time you wanted. And these islands were where we were reunited after having left our world." Voltair was actually suprised when Rai said she hated the islands. He never noticed. Of course, when they were on the islands together, they hadn't admitted their feelings for eachother.

 

Voltair grabbed her hand. "Don't worry. You broke free. It's no longer a prison. And also....." Voltair paused. "For a majority of this year, I've been here. Staying in the room Raven stayed in. You're not alone."

 

Voltair was smiling to himself as they walked. "Took me 4 years after we admitted our feelings. 4 years for us to hold hands as we walked across the beach." Voltair thought to himself. A question popped up in his mind. "Do you know who that little girl is?"
