"I could have sworn he was behind us," Zac said scratching his head as he looked out the door looking for the missing exorcist. "If he don't barge in I could have been killed easily when I was attacked by the scythe wielding exorcist...I saw the guy kill two people... It was not a clean death...,"

 

"I am honored that you would grant me such a privilege, my Lord," Eckart said honestly. "I would like nothing more than to rule over the armies of the dead. I ask that you grant us our powers immediately, so that we will be prepared to fight the Exorcists when they come, which I fear will be soon. The boost in power from both you and the temple should also aid us greatly in training." Eckart was ecstatic. Not only was Death here, visiting and admiring his temple, the Great Demon wanted to grant him power! What a glorious night! Eckart thought.

OOC: Quick question, Azure, is the power boost temporary? Because if it is, I want to edit so that we get the boost right before we fight the Exorcists.

 

Zac came back to where the others where and sat down, he wasn't used to how heaven was set up, and he couldn't fly to his knowledge so he say back down, not realizing he was next to Dawn again. He turned his head and say hr and started blush.

 

Aeron looked at Death in a mix of awe, fear, intimidation and wonder. To think that some of that amazing power would be granted to him was insane.
"Y-yes, Death, sir." he stuttered out. "I'm ready." he confirmed.
He was ready to accept Death's power, to kill the Exorcists at last. And then, the Earth would all be theirs. There would be no one stopping them from taking back what was rightfully theirs- their lives.

Kiran sighed in disappointment; it would've been nice to know what his main enemy was, exactly.

He wondered for a moment what had happened to Rush. He didn't remember him walking up to Heaven, so he'd guessed that the robot had had something else he had to do; which left them with five members of their group.
"Well, then, it's getting late." he stated, although he wasn't tired in the least. "I'll go to sleep soon, but for now, I guess I'll just read. Could I use your library?" he asked.

 

Eckart looked up in awe at the red beast. He put his hand to his forehead and pulled the bandages down to his neck in one motion, revealing his face. Eckart wore a wide-stretched smile as his red eyes locked with Death's. This was the first time Aeron and Trixis had seen Eckart's face; he wondered what their reaction would be. Eckart held his hands out to his side as if he was about to embrace something.

"I am ready Lord Death! Grant me your power!!" Eckart said enthusiastically. This was the most excited he had been in a long while. Eckart was prepared to receive the power of Death.

Trixis stepped back a bit, out of intimidation probably at the least. She didn't know if she could trust a Great Demon. Especially Death. She learned to never trust anybody at all, honestly. Since she had to particular choice in choosing who she trusted and what not, Trixis merely nodded her head. She was ready to try and take in power, not that she had any or could be of great use for it, but the least she could do was practice and advance some of her natural strengths. Through the time so far, Trixis hadn't spoken a word, but when Eckart revealed his face, she let out in inaudible gasp. She thought that he wanted to keep his face hidden, but instead he unraveled the multiple bandages covering his face. Trixis didn't know what to feel. All she could do was stand there and bottle up every muscled emotion in her body. Fear, excitment, intimidation, worry? Everything and more she has ever felt in her existence before. . .

 

"Some day..." Zac said, "The exorcists assembled together, in heaven," Zac said with a chuckle, "How many times can you say that to your fiends am I right?" Zac said, "And I think I'm the only human of the group, I don't know what K over there is,"

 

The blue orb of energy drifted toward Eckart. He grabbed it promptly and gazed into its azure depths. The glow of the orb was enthralling. Eckart simply stared into it for a long moment, reveling in the power that it emanated. His look of awe was broken by a sharp-toothed smile.

Eckart's mouth opened wide, wider than a human's should. In one swift motion, he devoured the incandescent blue orb. He chewed for a few moments before swallowing hard and letting out a sigh, followed by trailing laughter.

A wave of black energy exploded from Eckart, not damaging any of the others, but pushing them back a bit. Eckart seethed dark aura. He was adorned with two horns of black energy and a demon tail of the same composition. Eckart got onto a knee and bowed his head.

"I am forever grateful, Lord Death," Eckart said in a reverent tone. "If you ever need my assistance, think of me as your humble servant." Eckart got up, took a step forward and then turned around, viewing Aeron and Trixis. He extended his hands out to them, as if urging them to continue. Eckart's sharp teeth were visible as he smiled widely at his companions. "Your turn."

 

Zac got up to see what Shuraito was doing. He headed for the door, still opened and saw the blue flames surround the angel Zac stepped back a bit, confused and nervous of the current events taking place. "Shuraito what's going on?" Zac asked as he watched the flames surround him and watched as the angel change slowly, "Are you okay?"

She was the roof of a building, looking down at the streets... This was where her death took place. Her blue eyes watched as the people walked across the sidewalk and roads during the night, with the moon being as the grand source of light during the time the sun did not shine. She sighed, her death was caused because he didn't want people to lust after her, she was disgusted at the sight of men, she wanted to kill them, though, here in the open was not the best of times.

 

"I'm completely human, Zac." Kiran said. "But I do have a friend who has a crush on a female angel. You might know him." he taunted before making his way to the library.

Aeron's blue orb drifted towards him, pulsing with power. He snatched it and held it against his chest. It felt like the force of a thousand of his strongest attacks, compressed into something the size of his fist; truly the power of Death.

He kept the orb against his heart for a few long seconds, then forced it into his chest, wincing and doubling over as the immense energy coursed through his veins. After a few moments, he dropped to his knees, his head down, completely still. Then, a wave of crimson power exploded from his chest and he stood.

Red wings spread from his back and he broke into a huge grin.
"Lord Death, I am eternally in your debt. I will do you proud... And destroy the Exorcists. All of them." he then turned to Trixis. "C'mon, Trixis. We have enemies to kill."

 

Trixis looked at the orb. This one was different. It was more red in color. She wondered what poer it could have possessed, or if anything were even in there of power. She reached her hand out as it floated over to her. Wave like flames swirling in and out of the spherical shape. Her finger tips reached the orb and it mixed into her skin. Her eyes glowed a soft red and the red glow casted like a cocoon around her body. Her hair grew a deep, richer black and her grey eyes inhabited a red tint. She felt a tingle run though her body and she stumbled a bit. She kept her head down and refused to look at anybody. What had just happened? She felt a bit stonger, but other than that, she felt the same. .

 

Zac backed up slowly, and then readied his arms, "Strap on the shield of Faith!" Zac said as the golden shield formed, "Wield the Sword of the Spirit!" Zac said and then he was holding on the the grip of the Sword of the Spirit, then he started to back up, "Mind telling me what is happening?!"

She walked across the tops of the buildings, hiding in the shadows. She kept walking till she felt something... Souls... They weren't alive, they were rogues. She decided to see where the souls came from. But as she walked into the direction, she felt a stronger force... It wasn't like the rogue souls.

 

Kiran felt Shuaito's energy turn darker instantly, and he came back to Shuraito and Zac, who seemed to be just about to fight. He ran next to Zac immediately; whatever had happened to Shuraito, he was sure it wasn't good.

Kiran focused his mind on summoning his tome, and it appeared in his hands. He took on a battle stance, prepared to fight Shuraito if he had to. "What just happened to him?" he asked Zac. He opened his tome to a certain page and placed his palm on it, getting ready to summon a creature.

Aeron sensed something drawing near. And he had a feeling that that something was more than just a human; it felt like a Rogue Soul.
"Do you feel it? Another Rogue Soul's force?" he asked Eckart, Trixis and Death. "Do you think perhaps our energy is drawing others like us in?

 

Sylvia kept walking towards the source, till she felt the presence of three souks and apoerf being. She went to the bottom of the building and went inside to find the source. She walked through the building until she reached closer and closer to the source, finding the room where the Rogue Souls and Death are.

"What in the..." she muttered as she opened the door with her long sleeve which had turned into its snake form, after opening the door, sending a hiss through out the room.

 

"Yes, I do feel it, Aeron. That could be an explanation..." Eckart said, the smile fading from his face. "My apologies, Lord Death, it appears we have an uninvited visitor, though they are a Rogue Soul." A hissing filled the room as the new Soul walked in. Eckart stepped past Death and in front of the new woman, walking within a foot of her. "Well hello there newcomer. I sense that you are a fellow Rogue Soul. Welcome to my temple. My name is Eckart Ravner, please introduce yourself."
