The Spirit World

When Zeno entered the palace he could feel the pain and hatred in the air. "now where could he be" Zeno said as he began to walk through the building. Their were many doors and halls Zeno was confused on where to go it had been so long since he was last here. As Zeno searched the rooms he began to become frustrated finding everything except the lord of death. "Anybody here" Zeno yelled with frustration and anger in his voice. He continued around the biulding awaiting a response.

 

"My apologies," Eckart said sincerely, noting the frustration in Aeron's voice. "It's just a precaution. After we deal with this you may rest."

Eckart met the wandering aura in one of the side rooms, as the newcomer had already started exploring. Just wonderful, Eckart thought. I invite two Rogue Souls into my temple, and now everyone thinks that they can just waltz in here unannounced.

"Excuse me," Eckart said to the newcomer in an obviously displeased tone. "Who are you, and why have you come here? It's quite annoying to receive a guest that you didn't even invite in."

 

Trixis heard the commotion that was erupting from down below. She slid off of the ledge and wandered into the hallway and caught a glance of the new character. Who is he? Trixis thought. Why is everyone coming her all of a sudden, I mean, does Eckart want all of these Rogue souls here? Trixis descended the stairs and was back in the room where she had originally been. She saw the new soul and kept her emotion stabalized, as in no emotion came aross her face. I wander what happens now. Trixis thought.

Zac was still in front of Kiran, shield out and blocked the attack, though he was pushed back a bit, "I need to have faith," Zac said to himself, "Each part of the armor of God has an attribute, I suppose being strong in that attribute makes the armor stronger,"

"Shuraito it's us!"

 

"Thanks." Kiran whispered to Zac. That attack had caught him off guard. He decided he needed to change his strategy; Shuraito had evaded that last attack with ease.
He looked at the page and visualised a creature, and it ripped through his tome and fell to the ground. It was a long, thick snake that was level to his thigh whilst curled up. A lump rose in its throat, and it opened its mouth wide and spat out two katanas on the ground next to Kiran. "Zac, I don't think he can hear us. We'll have to stop him by force!"

He picked them up and charged at Shuraito, feinting a hit with the first, then getting ready to strike him with the second.

OOC: Azure, did this post stretch Kiran's powers too far?

 

"Dawn get over here!!" Zac exclaimed as he went to Shuraito and helped him up, "Kiran get some water! Anything! I'll get him to his bed," Zac said as he tried to pull Zac up to the angel's room.

 

Kiran rushed down to the kitchen, where Dawn had made herself a drink, and poured Shuraito a glass of water before taking a box of cereal from the side. He then followed Zac into the angel's room, helping him carry Shuraito up the stairs.

 

Trixis stood in the hallway with a blank expression on her face.

Zac nodded and took him to his bedroom with Kiran and Dawn. After some climbing and walking, Zac opened the door to his room with his foot and lead the others in, "Man what the heck was that that just happened?!" Zac asked, "He went super saiyin on us!"

 

"Dawn" Zac said walking up next to Dawn, "What was that?" he asked, wanting to know what caused Shuraito to be like that, and why he looked rater like a monster rather than an angel. This didn't seem normal....well he didn't know what the life of an angel is like.

Eckart opened his eyes as he awoke from his meditation. Resting was obsolete, as fatigue is simply a drawback of mortality, though Eckart savored his moments of calm contemplation. A pale ray of light shined through a window in the stone wall. Eckart stood up and approached the window, looking outside. The sky was painted with gray clouds. Though Eckart couldn't feel it, he sensed a cold breeze coming through the window. It brushed the tops of the nearly dead trees outside.

Eckart left the window and headed downstairs. He stopped at Sylvia's room, then Trixis's, and finally Aeron's, knocking twice on each door and reciting the same message to all of them:

"Meet me in the main room in 10. Training begins today."

Eckart continued his descent into the main room and waited for he other Rogue Souls to join him.

 

Trixis heard Eckart speak from the other side of the door. She had been sitting on the windowsill all night and counted at least every leaf on the trees, as if there were any to count as it is. Her eyes cooled down and were now a thin icy blue, but the pale red specks still painted spot on her eyes. Trixis threw on a pink cami and a tight black long sleeved V-neck shirt. The sleeves were tight on her arm, comfortabley, until the elbow then the sleeves flowed out on her thin arms. She wore black skinny jeans with black knee high boots, a few chains decorating the slick black look. She also accessorized with a thin skeleton like key around her neck, she has had this necklace since she was little always wore it since. Slithering out of the door, she slowly deseanded the stairs. Into the Main Room where she was supposed to meet Eckart in.

 

Sylvia moaned as she woke up, getting out of her bed and then stripping out of her nightgown, and into her dress she wore yesterday. Her right sleeve turned into a snake and opened the door as she went towards it, and closed the door behind her as she entered the main hall, taking note of Trixis walking down it.

"Morning," she said in sweet mothering tone to the young rogue spirit.

 

Aeron sighed as he opened his eyes. He hadn't slept; he couldn't sleep since what had happened years ago. But being a spirit, he was never tired either. He stood up, yawned and stretched, then summoned a ball of electricity, noting that it had a lot more force than it had before he'd absorbed Death's energy.

He absorbed the electricity into his palm and opened the door to his room, then made his way to the main room and over to Eckart.
"Reporting for duty. Since we're all here, why don't we start early?"

Kiran held the water over Shuraito's mouth and tilted it slightly.
"Open and swallow, Raito. Quickly!"

 

"Reporting for duty. Since we're all here, why don't we start early?"

"An excellent idea, Aeron," Eckart agreed, wearing a confident smile. "All of you, follow me."

Eckart lead the group through several winding passages in the temple, coming to a chamber here and there. At some points, the roof had decayed and the sun shone through. The sky still held its icy grey color. Finally, the group came to a large courtyard. The walls were dilapidated, broken own or entirely gone. There were statues of gargoyles and other creatures, but they were in the same condition as the walls, half-broken and run-down. There was a layer of green grass beneath their feet, nearly devoid of weeds; it swayed gently with the cold wind.

Eckart simply stood there for a moment, taking everything in. Then, he turned to his companions.

"Let's get right down to business. Aeron, Trixis, Lord Death has been so benevolent as to bless us with a boost in power; I would like to see how much stronger your abilities have become. Please demonstrate them, either against a statue in the courtyard, or against one of these..." Eckart summoned two spirits and pointed to them. He then looked to Sylvia. "As for you, I would've had you demonstrate your combat ability last night when you arrived, but your timing was so imperfect I could not. Do the same as Aeron and Trixis; display your skill using either a statue or this spirit." Eckart summoned said spirit promptly. He waited patiently for his companions to begin.

 

"A spirit would be best to demonstrate my powers," she said with a smirk as spectacled her left sleeve like a whip, and sent it hurdling towards the spirit and wrapped aroun it as the end turned into a snake's head with it's mouth gaping, poison seeping from it.

The spirit was trembling with fear, as the snake bite its neck, and then Sylvia withdrew the sleev and watched as the spirit screamed in fear, trembling, holding his head and panicking. Sylvia loved it when they screamed, she would let it suffer its nightmare and then make a final strike.
