wheres the future of the keyblade gonna lie?
is it going to 'evolve' like soul eater and become stronger/ different shaped? until the games come out, we can only hypothesise...

 

well i think the true question is? how will the weilders "evolve". seeing how the soul eater only transformed because riku was "ready" i guess.

possibly through some kind of event: eg: way to the dawn manifests when riku starts walking down the path of light again. keyblades generally choose good people so this would have shown how riku overcame his own darkness in his heart (master xehanort? go figure). Sorta like roxas. in KH2, he weilded kingdom key until his fight with axel, when he used Obliv. and Oath. this would probably have signified his memory returning, or his proximity to sora...

 

keyblade choose those capable of wielding it, someone who doubt themselves can't use it, good or bad doesn't matter.

I think what triggered the transformation of the soul eater, Riku started believing in himself and others again, his heart was strong.

He said something like he could face his friends after he submitted to the power of darkness. he had doubt in his heart, he was ashamed, so he was not capable of wielding it. but if you remember, in TWTNW, when Kairi figured out Riku was Riku just in ansem form he was still weilding the soul eater, after kairi found out, she still accepted Riku, so i'm guessing this got him to believe in himself, and he knew his friends would take him no matter what he looked like, so when we saw him again his soul eater had transformed to a keyblade, him having no dbout in his heart,

how he got those two keychains i forgot, but roxas had sora's keyblade, as of now he spit sora's keyblade in half to get either the obliv or oathkeeper. but then now its been said that his second keyblade belongs to xion >.>...and thats how he and sora can duel weild,because of her. this may or may not be true

 

but who's nobody is Xion, and how would riku have come into contact to call it a fake?

 

I do get what you are getting at, but I feel that sora's wooden sword in the beginning was a way that made the player try not to fight until you got the keyblade. I also feel that the keyblade is more important to have because I think that the keyblade is the only weapon that can free the hearts from the heartless.

Well we know Xion is a nobody, and we know she was made at the exact same time roxas was, meaning she is a nobody of sora?
but thats not the whole entire part, im guessing she is both half of sora and half of kairi somewhat, but not exactly , because she was made when Kairi's Heart left Sora's Body

to bad riku doesn't have one, sense nomura said riku doesnt have a nobody, then he would have a heartless which he doesn't, riku never lost his heart

 

that could be what happened, as we've only seen people lose their heart and become heartless. sora did have kairi's heart in him, but that would imply kairi also has a heartless. her(Xion's) keyblade could've been formed from the sora part of her, not the kairi part...if she is a nobody of their hearts.

Her looks, and gender, came from kairi, but her abilities, and what not came from sora

but negative Kairi is incapable of producing a heartless, she is a princess of heart, meaning she has a pure heart, meaning it can't be filled with darkness, basically meaning no heartless, even if her heart did leave her body, as we have seen it happen, she can't make a heartless, her body would just be an empty vessel

 

but yet her feelings 4 sora passed onto her nobody by having feelings 4 sora's empty shell
