Well, this is the general chat so ha.

Dang, for some time now, I've wanted to be somehow popular and move to America, and I angst about it since I can't do anything about it. Ha.

 

Oh, sorry.

 

Hmmm, you know what I want to do, eventually in my life attend E3, this year has had some amazing coverage for it, finally it's slowed down, I have to check and see if G4 uploaded the Konomi conference(it wasn't being broadcasted live) and make a thread for it then E3's over, only for other big things in my life to start up like RPOTS and I have a music college day camp next week, oh fun

 

E3 be amazing to go to...

 

Mhmm this year seemed to be one of the best, but then again every year something big happens, jsut this year there was kinect and the new 3Ds and Normura's surprise about KH3D

By the time I'd get to go who knows maybe they'll have teleporters to put people in the game (which I wouldn't mind) lol

 

lol right and yes it does.

 

Going to E3 would be one of the greatest moments of my life!Though I would suck at games where i am actually in them,but who knows,maybe I would be better at FPS games that way.

 

I want to go to E3 with my friend. We hope to go there next year if we get the money. Most likely not but you never know!

 

Yeah, I'd love to go once I'm in college during my summer break or something, it would be even cooler to go as a press member maybe representing a site like this one or trying to get into something like Game Spot.

Plus I just hope that in the future they don't close E3 out to the public because this year it was only press alowed in unless you could show you were part of a gaming organization or website that you worked for.

 

It would be funny if a bunch of us did get to go and actually saw each other without realizing it till after the whole thing was over.Maybe playing a multiplayer game with one person owning the other.

However,hasnt it been only the gaming press for a while now?I would hope it changes,but if it is we need to find a way to sneak in...

 

I think you were right, last year they had the convention part open to public but I think in 2008 it was closed like it was this year, but I think it sort of depends on huge gaming announcements. Like this year kinect and 3DS was a huge announcement, and last year there wasn't a huge announcement and 2008 like this year they had the wii announcement(as long as I'm not confusing my years)

 

Dont forget the Playstation Move.

You know whats funny? PS Move is like the Wii,while Kinect is like the Eyetoy.

 

It's always a trianle, nitendo is usually the only one that ever truly introduces something new (hello nitendo 3DS, so preordering the minute I can at Game stop)

 

Nintendo 3DS,doing what Movies can do without the glasses!

Really,you think Moives would have already dont this...

 

but even then now and then the movie doesn't work fully according to gamestop tour thing he says it's actual 3D and I found a theory scanning news that it some how works with the reflection or something that the upper screen projects to the eye that bounces off and hits something that bounces back making 3D, I dunno.

 

Wii looks very strong. Kinect looks krap. PS Move looks good (I love the wand action on Sorcery)

 

Kinect seems interesting, I wouldn't mind checking it out I already have a 360(ok my brother has a 360) play station move is interesting it's just I'm not going after it yet unless something like kingdom hearts came out on it, as of right now it's too similar to wii.

My main focus is 3DS
