My sister said the movie was horrible compared to the book. I don't think I'll be seeing it anytime soon. :I

I watched Bambi. All those feels, man.

The movie was all right, it was a little dull at times, but the main story was interesting. Some elements of the story were better than others and the conflicts present were enjoyable, but if was extremely dry at other parts of the film and it felt incredibly long. George Clooney is always good to look at though.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, of course, but this book fan thought the movie was just about perfect. I highly recommend it.

So yeah, the last movie I saw was The Hunger Games. I was incredibly pleased- the acting, the worldbuilding, well, everything, was very well done. I liked getting to see outside of the arena, too (watching the gamemasters do their thing, and seeing the folks in District 12, like Gale, watching the Games on TV). I would have liked to see more of was the romance angle- I would have liked more time with Katniss and Peeta inside the cave, and I also wouldn't have minded a little more Haymitch, 'cause he's awesome. But even as is, I thought it was great.

First, I've read all the books. So here is my opinion, the movie was SURPRISINGLY amazing. I like pretty much everything. The acting blah blah. But there was somethings they need to improve on. Like, how Katniss found water so quickly, or how they really did a bad job on introducing characters. I went with my girlfriend and she didn't know the names of the characters because it was so poorly done. Also, I would have like them to explain what the "dogs" were that attacked them at the end, they are pretty much the kids from the other districts that have fallen during the hunger games

Well, to be fair, even in the book there were a lot of characters, mostly the other tributes, whose names were never mentioned or only mentioned once, but I see your point.

Yeah, I suppose the movie did kind of just throw the dogs out there. I can't say it really bothered me, though, I suppose because I already knew what they were from the books.

I'm really just so happy with this movie. I was a little afraid it'd be a let down, but it's definitely one of those movies that is just as good as the source book. My aunt's read the book, and she's a notable grouch, and the only thing she could find to complain about was how Katniss received the mockingjay pin and how Katniss' cat was apparently supposed to be orange. When that's all you can find to bitch about, you know it's a good adaptation. I can't wait for the sequels. XD
