    I understand berserk. But how do you use cure for that?

    The cure is there so your MP depletes for Berserk.
    I guess you could just keep using thunder instead to deplete MP and perhaps land more hits and make it easier since the ball will remain locked on. But I did cure because MP depletion is instant and you can go onto berserk faster.
